Hello, I am not able to print or preview my assignment slips.

Fix or reinstall your PDF reader (Adobe, Foxit or whatever it is)

I'm trying this for the first time on the 2018 Jan assignment slips and doesn't open them. I reinstall PDF reader and didn't work, please advise what I need to do to make this work.

1) Locate your slip document. Look in %appdata%\clm explorer. it should be called tmpSlips.pdf or something similar

2) Right-click the File

3) In the right-click context menu, do you see an Open ? Is it bold?

4) Click Open,does the PDF open?

5) Try double-clicking the file. Does it open?

6) Click Windowskey-R to open the Run command
Type this line followed by ENTER
"%appdata%\clm explorer\tmpSlips.pdf"

Does it open?

Also try:
In Acrobat Reader turn OFF Protected mode
Run CLME as Administrator
Right-click the CLME shortcut and try Compatibility Mode

If CLME does not open the PDF, you'll have to manually open it using one of the above methods, typically double-clicking the PDF

-Try reinstalling your PDF reader
-Try getting rid of it and using Foxit, or the default Microsoft Edge included with Windows 10

Also try right-clicking the PDF and clicking Open With... and selecting your PDF reader

Then choose 'Always Use This'

Bro Hudson,
I followed all your instructions to fix the assignment slips. I have isolated the problem to 2018. Slips for 2017 months print fine. I made sure all updates are installed and I reinstalled the app. Also used other pdf apps the Acrobat to eliminate other possible issues. tmpslips.pdf file opens fine on it's own - fields will not populate when trying to preview or print.

Hi Corey. Delete the \Templates folder in %appdata%\clm explorer

Then reinstall again

Bro Hudson,

Unfortunately, this did not work. So I deleted the entire CLM explorer folder > uninstalled app > restarted > installed again > restored backup > restarted > still blank slips. Could the problem be related to the language - ASL congregation - never mattered before...

I changed the Language to English and the slips now populate. Please advise.

You are correct, ASL language assignment slips don't populate on my PC either. Hang in there Corey... cool smiley

I'll fix this shortly. You can fix it yourself right now by copying the [S89] section of the GUI file from English to ASL
